THEATRE EQUIPMENT -TECHNICAL FACILITIES

The Theatre has a seating capacity of 761, 525 out of which in the orchestra pit and 236 in the first balcony. All the indoor areas of the Theatre are fully air-conditioned.

Installations

Box-office = where tickets are booked in advance.

Cafeteria room suitable for receptions too. Moreover, a small backstage cafeteria is available for the actors or other partners, who contribute to the events taking place.

Dressing rooms with a capacity of 80 persons, equipped with a sound system to watch the performances.

A piano for recital giving by professional pianists only

A lighting system consisting of
1. A console with 36 channels, 3 PRESET and 9 programs
2. 14 STRAND 15/28 100W PROFILE projectors
3. 20 STRAND 16/30 650W PROFILE projectors
4. 16 STRAND 1000W FRENSEL projectors
5. FOLLOW SPOT STRAND SOLO 2000W

A sound system consisting of :
A DYNACORD MC 16/2 console, disposing of 16 channels, a monitoring line and two EFFECTS lines.
(2) sound-boxes with DYNACORD 600W RNS each
1. (2) sound-boxes with a DYNACORD 400W monitor each.
2. (5) A.K.G. 330 BT microphones with the respective stands and cables.

A black revolving stage measuring about 90 square metres

TERMS OF AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF THE THEATRE

1. The licensee should follow the instructions given by the Manager of the Theatre or his authorised replacement for a smooth and correct use of it.

2. The licensee should have to use the Theatre properly and in a seemly way, keeping everything in order.

3. The licensee should respect the working hours of the Theatre or those hours indicated by its Manager.

4. The licensee can nor transfer to other persons the right to use the Theatre nor allow or tolerate the sound or the visual recording of all or part of the performances for commercial use, without the anticipated permission of the LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY.

5. The licensee should have no right to give the permission for any performance being projected or any advertising messages being broadcast / retransmitted, any leaflets or drinks being distributed for publicity purposes or any kind of advertising material being hung up or stuck without the anticipated permission of the LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY.

6. The licensee should have no right to proceed to any modifications with respect to the arrangement of the Theatre without the permission of the LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY.

7. The licensee should not be allowed to carry into the Theatre any material considered inflammable or which would result to increasing the premium for fire risk.

8. The licensee should not be allowed to close or obstruct the exits of the Theatre and should not be allowed to put seats or any other items in places, which could obstruct the corridors of the Theatre and interfere in any way to the equipment of the Theatre in case of fire.

9. Should several events be organised relying upon the numbering system of the seats, the licensee should have to dispose for sale only numbered seats as per the seat planning of the Theatre and in no case should he be allowed to exceed the seating capacity of the Theatre.

10. The entrance to any animal is prohibited.

11. The licensee should be responsible for any likely damage caused in the property of the Theatre (premises, equipment) while the Theatre's installations are validly in use.

12. The licensee should have to be on the spot accompanied with the technicians for the rehearsals or any performance.

13. The LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY should have the right to authorise the suitable persons to visit and/or stay in the Theatre whenever and for as long as it is deemed necessary while the Theatre's installations are in use.

14. The LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY should not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft occurred to any property or personal item belonging to anyone or which should occur while the Theatre's installations are in use or that should be the result of the Theatre's installations use no matter what the cause is.

15. The word "use" of the Theatre's installations means that the licensee should deliver over the Theatre in the same condition as it was initially when it obtained control of it.

16. The licensee should be granted all the necessary permissions by the Municipal or any other Authority and should totally comply with the Law on the Municipalities and the Municipal Regulations as well as its provisions on Intellectual Property Chap. 2.

17. Should at any time, while the present agreement is in force, the licensee infringe anyone of the above-mentioned obligations and any of the provisions of the present agreement on the Theatre's installations use, as they are mentioned at the back, the LIMASSOL MUNICIPALITY should have the right to put an end to the permission granted for the use of the Theatre, take over control of it immediately and claim damages.
