Majestic moves. Irish music and dancing merge in the show that spawned a worldwide wave of Celtic mania in the 1990s. That’s when the American-born dance pioneer Michael Flatley created "Lord of the Dance," acclaimed as the most popular touring dance production in history. Flatley conceived and choreographed the theatrical spectacle, which has been seen by more than 50 million people worldwide. He originated the role of the Lord and now serves as the show’s artistic director.

Michael Flatley; the man who revolutionized Irish dancing became an overnight sensation in 1994 when he launched the Riverdance routine in Dublin at the Eurovision song contest. Micheal Flatley followed up with his Lord of the Dance and then toured with Feet of Flames - the largest, most extravagant dance show ever produced.

Lord of the Dance has been the highest grossing Dance show in the world since it began in 1996.  In 1997 it was the highest grossing tour of any kind in the world!
