SQUARE AT ENAERIOS

The existing level spot is reformed into two separate levels where the lower part will be closer to the beach. A variety of entertainment in combination with an open air bar covered by a light anopy ,adding in this way an impression of movement ,are what is proposed here.

The existing jetty is repaired whilst a sketch with the history of the area ( an aerial railway with the carriages of which people used to carry asbestos to the ships that had been mooring at the existing platform ) can be found at the end of the junction of Makariou 3rd Avenue.

ENAERIOS SQUARE – GROUND PLAN

The enrichment with greenery (tall trees) is proposed at the two ends of the square in way that ,when coming from the Makarios Avenue this image is seen as an illusion of an open window with a wonderful sea view.

Moving east of Enaerios ,we meet the particular square which is reformed as a park – playground with a wooden floor, suitable games and a small pavilion.
